Selling digital products with secure downloads in Mrfqy
Deliver ebooks, templates, and courses with secure tokens, expiring links, and automatic fulfillment after payment.
Digital goods remove shipping complexity but introduce piracy and support risk if delivery is a plain PDF link in email. Mrfqy digital product fulfillment uses secure, time-limited download tokens tied to paid orders — automatic after payment clears, revocable if you refund. This guide explains setup and merchant practices that reduce leakage without punishing honest buyers.
Configure a digital product
Create a product, set type to digital, and upload files (PDF, ZIP, MP3, etc.) within plan size limits. Attach bilingual instructions telling customers how to open files on mobile — many Egyptian buyers first download on phone.
Set price in EGP and disable shipping methods for digital-only carts. Mixed carts with physical items re-enable shipping for the whole order unless you split catalogs.
Use clear license language in description: personal use only, no redistribution. It will not stop all piracy but supports DMCA-style disputes.
Secure tokens and expiring links
After payment, Mrfqy generates a signed download token unique to the order line. Links expire after a configured window and cap download attempts to reduce link sharing in Telegram groups.
Tokens invalidate on full refund — honest policy for chargebacks. Partial refunds may still leave access depending on your settings; document policy in FAQ.
Do not email raw S3 or CDN URLs bypassing token flow; customers forwarding those leak permanently.
Automatic fulfillment workflow
Paid digital orders move to fulfilled automatically when payment gateway confirms — no manual 'mark shipped' step. Customers receive Arabic-first email with download button and support contact.
